Last night, at Warren Lodge #51, we were proud to reveal more light, but only partially, to both Ryan Howard and Justin Smigel.
Post degree congratulations for Bros. Justin Smigel (left) and Ryan Howard (right) from Bro. Thomas P. Keser (left center), SW and Acting Worshipful Master and WB Ronald W. Kutz (right center). (--photo by Fred Frost) It was an exciting evening for all the Bretheren in attendance for this Fellowcraft Degree. There were many highlights for the evening, including
WB Don Tansey, WM at St. John's #2. (--photo by Fred Frost) In The East for this Degree was Bro. Thomas P. Keser, normally Senior Warden, but Acting Worshipful Master as he was being evaluated by Grand Lodge. In his stead was WB Ronald W. Kutz, this years Worshipful Master but Acting Senior Warden in the West. WB Frederick W. Frost III was Acting Junior Warden while Bro. Thomas F. Mumford, normally Junior Warden was Acting Senior Deacon. Bros. Patrick M. Landry, JD, Devin C. Schleidt, SS, Robert M. Oakliff, JS, Thomas L. Matthews, Tiler and Richard J. Lucas, Historian, were in their chairs. WBros. Richard R. Washburn, Chaplain, James A. Tyler, Sec., Robert E. Godwin, Treas., and David A. Berndston, Marshal and Bro. Maykel Torriente were also in attendance. Additonal attendees of to witness this Degree included WBros. Fran DiStefano and Donald Tansey in company with two other Brothers from St. John's #2 and, from District 7A, RWB Carl J. Mossberg, District Deputy and WB Jonathan Wilson, Associate Grand Marshal. Bro. Thomas F. Mumford received the candidates in due and ancient form. WB Ronald W. Kutz taught the candidates how to approach The East as Fellow Crafts. Bro. Thomas P. Keser obligated them as Fellow Crafts. A wonderful meal, prepared by the Bretheren, preceded the Degree followed by coffee and dessert afterwards.
