Greetings Brothers,
I would like to congratulate Brothers Ryan Howard and Justin Smigel on being raised to the sublime degree of Master Mason. Your journey as a Master Mason has just begun. Remember you will get out of the fraternity what you put into it and each of your brothers are more than willing to help you in your journey.
I would also like to thank the Degree team for coming to rehearsal nights so that we could give our newly raised brothers the degree they deserve. I must say, I am both relieved and thankful I have completed the MM Degree and the part of King Solomon; it was, to say the least, a mouthful to memorize.
Looking ahead we have a Fellow craft club Thursday February 9, 2012 at 7:00 P.M. I will make myself available at Lodge if any of our Entered Apprentices would like to work on their first section lecture or if any other brothers would like to work on any other ritual work. On the 16th, at our Stated Communication we will have a guest speaker. MWB Sam Walker will be making a presentation about George Washington as only Brother Sam can; those in attendance will be sure to be entertained! On the 23rd, we have an Entered Apprentice rehearsal at 7:00 P.M., so we can switch gears from MM to EA. Stewards, please brush up on your lecture. We have one Candidate to be Entered, and to our current EA's you are welcome to come to rehearsal as it affords you a prime opportunity to see the degree in a more detailed fashion. It promises to be a busy month at Warren Lodge #51.
Blue Lodge Council has a Table Lodge this month as well. Saturday February 18, 2012 Washington 81 is hosting a Table Lodge, which I believe is at 6:30 P.M. We had a good showing for the last TL, let's see if we can muster enough support to take the Traveling Gavel. Hopefully the bridge will not be tied up like it was when we last traveled to Cromwell.
Brothers, in closing if any time you would like to call me about Lodge with a question, concern or suggestion please feel free to call me at 860-754-4808.
Fraternally,
Thomas P. Keser, Worshipful Master
